How to Add Custom robots.txt to blog:

               Adding Custom robots.txt to blog’s settings is an important element to bring your blog and your posts to front page of google search result. Export bloggers use this method for SEO(Search Engine Optimization). This method is pretty easy. You only have to follow the steps that I am going to explain in this post. 

  • Go to your blog Settings and then go to Search Preferences in the left panel of your blog.
  • Move to Crawlers and indexing and then click on edit in front of Google Search Console. A new window will open.
  • Now click on URL of your blog as shown in the picture below.

  • In the left panel click on Crawl.
  • Now click on robots.txt tester.

  • Copy the code and move to your blog’s Settings again.

  • In Search preferences and Crawlers and indexing tab, click on edit in front of Custom robots.txt.
  • Paste the code and then click on save changes.
